A phased lift of control: a practical strategy to achieve herd immunity against Covid-19 at the country level (Q4452)

We propose that countries consider “a phased lift of control”. That is, in successive parts of the country (say provinces) all stringent interventions are released, such that the epidemic can rage locally, while maintaining strict control in the remaining parts that wait for their turn.
