Dating Privacy aims to contribute with better development standards on dating apps that match the users' interests and protect their intimate life. <br>
Dating Privacy aims to contribute with better development standards and user practices on dating apps that match the users' interests and protect their intimate life. <br>
Members of the data collective Dating Privacy are using the right to fight against the risks associated with the use of dating apps, to increase the algorithmic transparency of matching systems, and to highlight their discriminatory effects. We are for instance interested in understanding algorithmic effects in situations of cyberviolence, exclusion, or socio-economic discriminations on the basis of our digital identities and behaviors. From the data obtained through SARs, we can understand algorithmic amplification of societal stereotypes as well as their influence on human behaviors (sometimes offline). It is urgent to find solutions to cyberviolence and discrimination problems in a society of algorithmic “personalization” edging ever more towards polarization and fragility.<br>

Nous sommes un collectif de données, Dating Privacy, avec 15 membres dont l'une de nos préoccupations majeures est de gagner en transparence algorithmique sur les applications de rencontres et tout système utilisant de l'appariement (ou matching) afin d'aider les personnes affectées par le traitement automatisé des données personnelles et sensibles. Par exemple, les victimes des violences facilitées par les applications de rencontres, de l'exclusion ou des discriminations socio-économiques sur la base de nos identités et comportements numérisés.<br>
