Development needs

From the start, PersonalData.IO is meant to be a collaborative space for mapping the personal data ecosystem. The system we are using and developing allows for anyone to jump in and improve upon it.

Here are some ideas of things that could be done.

Javascript

Gadget implementation

  • Global gadget encouraging different types of stakeholders to join. Message selection is random.
  • Porting of Wikidata gadgets to this wikibase instance
  • development of a better framework for purely textual gadgets (reliant on Wikidata entries themselves)

  • help setting up the environment
  • modification of core Wikibase code to decouple some properties choice to Wikidata itself
