Questionnaire COVID-19 lifestyles and contagion

Please take the time to answer this questionnaire it will help working on the results during the hackathon:

Goals

Our initiative is part of the more general framework of MyData: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JONwa781NSuxyVANzTSxruR23z2_YPTEdcxsS3PNMpM/edit#

The characteristics of the virus and of COVID-19 could be confronted with the collection of personal data, to stop the spread and to enter into epidemiological modelling, in order to get out of the crisis as quickly as possible. This is feasible with an interdisciplinary approach. Epidemiologists, scientists, hacktivists, ethicists, elected officials, civil servants and citizens all have a role to play.

Although data collection may be seen as essential to understand the current problem and find solutions within a consistent technical, legal and ethical framework, we are compelled to prepare and obtain informed consent from individuals, which we believe is crucial to balancing the public health emergency and safeguarding fundamental rights and freedoms, in the short, medium and long term. We also have the challenge of social inclusion to create a model that is adapted to different contexts, lifestyles, and access to basic and technological resources where it will have to be evaluated what can actually be collected and shared, taking into account the profile of people who do not wish or cannot share data.

This event is intended to be a space for discussion, debate, sharing and development. You are free to propose ideas, provide constructive criticism and work both autonomously and in coordination.

Schedule

1.Introduction by Paul-Olivier Dehaye
POD Presentation

YT video Anthropology of SARSCoV and Research into SARS CoV2 COVID19 HCoV19

Oxford article :Quantifying dynamics of SARS-CoV-2 transmission suggests that epidemic control and avoidance is feasible through instantaneous digital contact tracing

2.SHORT TALKS

  • biological aspect: understanding the virus
  • why tracing?
  • sociological aspect: explain the context population, authorities, public health, why work on this? how to count those who do not have voices without data? seek data minimization, what is the social meaning of monitoring, on what scale? (Miles and Jessica)
  • technical aspect: understanding transparency in existing solutions (Lennig) legality in relation to proportionality (PO) global vs. local context, how to prove that tracing is necessary?
  • our initiative stemming from MyData (PO): governance, trusted intermediaries, informed consent, COVID-19 MyData Commons

3. Presentation of groups so everyone can make a choice where to participate.

  • comments, questions, new ideas

4. Group formation in Zoom according to the number of group 1-6

5. Break (12.30pm-2pm)

6. Quick sync (2pm-2.30pm)

7. Second round of group work (2.30pm-4pm)

7. Conclusions (4pm-5pm)

8. Celebrations Apero

9. Post HackCovid. Follow up
