The algorithm could underpin an App-assisted infection-control response to achieve herd protection, when sufficient numbers of people are immune to infection, from coronavirus . Contacts of person A (and all people with the App) are traced using GPS co-localisations with other App users, and by scanning QR-codes displayed on high-traffic public amenities.
