  1. upgrade your browser (they are starting to compete on privacy protections, so new features are coming in fast)
  2. install Ghostery extension on Firefox or Chrome (not AdBlock or AdBlock Plus, as they only stop visually intrusive ads, not tracking ads -- AdBlock Plus is paid by Google to let their ads through, with tracking)
  3. install Brave
